Courses and Workshops

Fused glass jewellery courses and workshops
Create unique pieces of fused glass jewellery. All formed in kilns, using transparent, iridescent and dichroic glass and enamels. Each piece will be unique to you.

Unfortunately, these workshops are not suitable for young children.

Using transparent, iridescent and dichroic glass you will create jewellery pieces that will then be kiln fired. During the workshops you will be able to make mosaic pieces and also pieces using frit and cut glass. Methods and techniques will be explained at the start and you will be guided during the workshop.

You will be able to make 3 pieces during the workshop to the design and technique you prefer.

Because of the long firing times, your work will be ready in about 2 weeks, we can post if you are visiting Scarborough.

Duration is typically two to three hours.

The cost of the workshop is £35 per person, booking essential.

We don't make cabochons or puddle jewellery during our workshops. Firing times will be longer, typically 4-8 weeks. If you do want to make these types of pieces, a price will need to be calculated based on your design, due to the price of the glass involved.

Please note that cabochons are tricky and may not be as you expected them to be; poor edge finishes are common due to under or over capping. We can not take responsibility for quality of the finished pieces.
